what a week. but the farmer’s market started this morning and it was full and fun. people i haven’t seen in forever all over, with perfect weather too! now to just hang out all day cause it’s summertime! [basically.]

after the rain was over, it got hot! i was a little stinky after my jog to the cemetary and back (not in it), so a refreshing shower and maybe some oprah tonight?!?

an amazing grad party! great food, a ton of friends, lots of laughter, just fun all around! now for some laundry in between pouring rain showers.
cinco de mayo!
so yesterday, after mimosas and brunch (after work of course), it was just a fun aternoon with everyone. and a peaceful night’s sleep at that. now tonight is the grad party in ames-ville, lots of fun!
long day.
after a long day at work, i ended up sleeping like all afternoon. i don’t know, i must be really exhausted or something. oh well, at least i’ll be rested for tomorrow.
no more pencils...
it’s over. for almost four weeks! so i had some drinks and now i can sleep before a long day tomorrow, knowing that i am on break. amen to that. g’night!

sunday fun day.
coffee with friends from high school can totally make your day. i’m glad that relays brings all the favorites back to town. then laundry finally got done, and so just working on getting the garden going is left. maybe a bike ride? who knows - it’s hot outside!

wow, a fun night with friends. hiking, hanging out late, just overall relaxing. and it looks like it’ll be a beautiful day!

actually, i had to cross out yahtzee on my card, i didn’t get it. but it was a great dessert after pasta. just hanging out. happy friday.

time for a walkies on this beautiful afternoon. maybe the observatory tonight at waveland? we’ll see…

i didn’t do it. tomorrow might not happen as it is supposed to. bad, d. very bad.

ugh, i’m sick. i’m achy, sore throated, exhausted. i just want to sleep. but no, i have to go to class and then [somehow] write a six pager for friday. hmm, unlikely. people at work say that it’s a virus. that doesn’t sound promising. that means at least a few more days of feeling like poo poo. :(

almost. almost. just a few more random paragraphs as to how it affects me. but it doesn’t. but that’s not the point. i just need to make up something. rain all day today, a ton of it. everything is already looking extra green, so maybe it will help the trees pop. that would make it feel more summery.

still no paper. but class was the best, just kerouac and i was the only one whom had heard of him. a good hour and a half. now just relaxation/procrastination. maybe then some diego velázquez?

still no paper. can’t stop not doing it. argh. tomorrow. i don’t know how but tomorrow. jdr is in bed, i am full of grease, the ground is soaked with rain. time for another grueling week.
after dinner
pouring rain jack and stuff an evening with penne can bring the cats into wearysome modes.
ah, rain.
laundry and coffee in the morning and now some rain showers! the flowers will love it, plus it smells so good.
hooray.
we finally made it to the park. earth day sucked until we planted a tree [dogwood] and picked up some trash. jdr even got an old plastic barrel out of the pond. diner for dinner makes it a good evening. time to relax and sign out.

yay! a target run for some people-watching and some shorts for jdr. now off to park!

okay, so it’s not that early. jdr is still snoring away though, and i am still without breakfast. the sunshine is streaming in and it looks like it will be a gorgeous day. to the park, i said, to the park!
